Emirates and Etihad are offering discounts for students which can be utilised when booking flight tickets for their upcoming three-week spring break.
Emirates Airline:
Students may save up to 10% on Emirates Economy Class when they book their flights by Sunday, March 31st by using the promo code STUDENT. They will receive a ticket that is 5% less if they want to go in business class. This does not include any taxes or levies. In addition, they will receive an extra 10kg of luggage allowance. (Unless they are travelling to the United States or Canada, when standard luggage limitations are applicable.)
Full-time students between the ages of 16 and 31 who have a valid student ID from a recognised higher education institution are eligible for this offer at the time of departure.
Upon check-in, students must present a valid student ID or school admission letter. They may also be required to provide evidence of age.
Tickets that were purchased earlier without a discount code are not eligible for student pricing.
Make your reservation before Sunday, March 31st to take advantage of the promotion.
Etihad Airways:
When travelling to their home country or place of study with Etihad, students from specific nations can save up to 10% on their Economy Class tickets and up to 5% on their Business Class tickets.
Three step process involved are:
- The first step is to sign up for Etihad Guest, a loyalty club that offers several benefits.
- The second is to confirm your foreign student ID using a legitimate student ID or an English admission letter. After reviewing your papers, they will send you an email.
- Once you've signed in with your Etihad Guest account, purchase your airline tickets.
Reservations for tickets must be made by Sunday, June 30.
The student discount is valid for a full year starting on the verification date. International students studying in the following countries of age18-32 can utilise the opportunity. Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belgium, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Maldives, the Netherlands, Oman, Pakistan, Philippines, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, the UAE and the UK.
