Emirates Airlines will be serving thousands of meal boxes for fasting passengers at Dubai International Airport during Ramadan

During the Holy Month of Ramadan, Dubai-based carrier Emirates will provide thousands of food boxes to fasting travellers both aboard and at the boarding gates at the Dubai International Airport, the airline said on Friday. The Dubai Airlines also said that it will provide traditional Ramadan food in its lounges and showcase a variety of popular TV series and religious content on ice.

The airline stated that the captain will notify Muslim passengers on a flight of the iftar hour.

Additionally, aircraft serving Umrah groups heading to Jeddah and Medina will provide Ramadan boxes. Additionally, at DXB and other Saudi Arabian airports, travellers are allowed to check in one bottle of the Islamic holy water Zamzam, which may hold up to five gallons per person.
