According to AirlineRatings.com, Dubai's largest airline, Emirates is the third-safest full-service airline globally.
Emirates, which comes in only below Air New Zealand and Quantas, shared third place with Hong Kong's Cathay Pacific and Qatar Airways.

- Serious incidents over the past two years
- Rate of incidents
- IOSA certification
- Pilot skill and training
- Fatalities
- Profitability
- ICAO country audit pass
