The Emirates A350 made its first trip from Dubai to Edinburgh over the weekend. The first of 65 bright new A350s entering the fleet, the aircraft includes a whole new cabin design and some state-of-the-art technology to ensure the time flies by.
The debut of the Emirates A350 in Edinburgh comes after the airline resumed services to Scotland's capital in November 2024.
Emirates' A350 Flight EK23 departs Dubai International Airport at 2.50pm local time and arrives in Edinburgh at 7.05pm local time. The return flight, EK24, left Edinburgh at 20.40pm local time and arrives in Dubai at 8.05am the next day.
The airline now runs 14 weekly flights to Scotland, with an A380 service to Glasgow. The new A350 will feature 32 business class seats, 21 premium economy seats, and 259 economy seats, as well as larger aisles and better Wi-Fi when in the air.
Emirates is introducing the A350 to a number of new destinations in the coming months, including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kuwait, Bahrain, Colombo, Lyon, Muscat, and Bologna.
