Eleventh edition of Sharjah Government Communication Award; Entries will be welcomed from across the world

News EventEntries for the eleventh Sharjah Government Communication Award (SGCA) are invited from all over the world. Twenty-two categories from five segments—Government, International Organizations, and Private Sector; Individual Awards; Challenge and Competition Awards; Jury Awards; and Partner Awards—will be included in the eleventh edition of the SGCA.
The Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB) stated that anyone interested in applying for this year's awards can register online from May 7 to August 1 at www.igcc.ae.
The following are the prize categories:
Government, private sector, and international organizations
Awards like Best Campaign Targeting Cultural Identity and the Arabic Language - Government Sector, Best Integrated Communication System - Government Sector, and Best Communication Targeting Youth - Government Sector are included in this section.
Individual awards
This category, which honours individual contributions, includes age-specific divisions for Best Youth Initiative in Government Communication, Best Official Spokesperson (working for a government agency), Best Research in Communication Sciences, and Best Purposeful Digital Content Creator.
Challenges, competitions and jury awards
The recipients of jury awards are notable people in government communication as well as influential individuals who support social welfare programs and distant areas.
They include the "Best Distinguished Government Official Award," "Honouring of Best Individual to Have Contributed Strategically to the Field of Government Communication," "Award for Best Communication with Impact in Remote Communities," and the "Best Individual Positive Social Impact Award."
Partner awards
As a sign of international cooperation, SGCA extends a warm welcome to new partners, strengthening its backing for a range of communication campaigns.
"Best Innovation in Government Communication" (along with partner Apolitical), "Best Communication Practices for Dealing with Developmental Changes" (along with UAE CSO Network), and "The Best Innovative and Resilient Communication Initiatives" (along with UN DESA) are some of the award titles.
The SGCA, which was founded by the SGMB, honors superiority in communication initiatives and tactics.
