Eighth edition of the Lulu Walkathon on Sunday; more than 15,000 residents and visitors came together for the cause of sustainability

Over 15,000 locals and guests came together in support of sustainability for the eighth edition of the Lulu Walkathon. Sunday's annual event took place in Dubai's Al Mamzar Beach Park, supported by a number of sponsors and government agencies including Mastercard, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Sports Council, and others.

The 7.30am start time of the walk was filled with events and activities aimed at keeping participants of all ages interested and raising awareness of sustainable practices and healthy living.

The main draws for the attendees included Zumba classes, fitness exercises, healthy competitions, recycling activities, and other events. According to the organisers, everyone went home with eco-friendly presents and mementos.
