With more than 60 million passengers served and 6 million kilometers traveled over the last ten years, the tram has solidified its place as a vital component of Dubai's public transportation system.

With 11 stations along Al Sufouh Road, the Dubai Tram line connects well-known locations like Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, and JBR. The entire trip takes 42 minutes.
The tram's smooth integration with other transportation options in Dubai, including as the Metro, buses, taxis, and bike lanes, supports the city's objective of making public transportation the most popular way to get around.
For increased safety, the Dubai Tram is the first system globally to have automated platform doors. It also uses a ground-level power supply system, runs without overhead wires, and has completely air-conditioned stations for year-round comfort.
The tram accommodates a range of customer needs with its eleven contemporary tram cars, each of which offers a Gold or Silver option as well as special compartments for ladies and children.
