The Dubai Tourist Police have unveiled a cutting-edge digital tourism officer that will be included into the Dubai Police app in February 2025, capable of helping travellers with everything from emergency assistance to full itinerary planning.
The project was announced by the Dubai Police at the ongoing Gitex Global Technology expo at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The digital officer was proposed by Lieutenant Ahmed Nasser Zari of the Tourist Police Department. The program is now in its initial phase of implementation. Within the last week alone, the digital officer has had 469 discussions and resolved 461 of them. The efficacy of this novel method is demonstrated by the fact that just eight queries needed a human agent's intervention.
The digital officer has several advantages beyond life-threatening circumstances. Travellers may rely on it for thorough itinerary creation and site recommendations, among other trip planning services.
