Dubai to host World Summit for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine from May 26 to 30, 2024

The World Summit for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine will take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for the first time in its 70-year existence, outside of Europe. Hosting this important conference, which advances healthcare and prevention and strengthens UAE's commitment to being the centre of scientific breakthroughs and information sharing, is a historic milestone for the city of Dubai.

This dynamic metropolis draws what large cities and world capitals find difficult to do each year, and hosting this conference is just another fantastic accomplishment for the city of Dubai. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and President of the UAE Genetic Diseases Association, is the summit's patron.

UAE Genetic Diseases Association, Saudi Society for Clinical Chemistry, and Arab Federation for Clinical Biology joined forces to host the worldwide conference. The conference's official opening is scheduled for May 26–30, 2024. Based on the 2023 edition hosted in Italy, planners anticipate welcoming about 11,000 scientists and specialist medical professionals to the UAE for the event. Multiple forums and workshops will be held over the four-day conference to provide opportunities for knowledge sharing, scientific research, and debates on the most recent advancements in clinical chemistry and laboratory medicine.
