Dubai Taxi Corporation has started using AI to monitor and track the performance of its drivers and vehicles

Artificial intelligence (AI) is being used by Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) to track and analyse driver and vehicle performance. Currently, 7,200 vehicles—including taxis, school buses, limos, commercial buses, and delivery motorcycles—and 14,500 drivers are covered by the smart system. It facilitates the dispatch of taxis to locations with high demand, vehicle route tracking, and rule compliance by drivers and cyclists on behalf of the DTC's control centre.

With the use of AI, the facility can also keep a careful eye on school bus excursions. By guaranteeing that pupils arrive at schools and homes on time, DTC protects their safety. This include keeping tabs on student information, checking the status of journeys, evaluating driver conduct, and providing alert services as needed.

The AI-enabled technology assists the DTC, which is in charge of 5,200 cabs, in responding to driver requests, directing them to regions with high demand, tracking daily vehicle movement efficiency, and doing data analysis.
