Dubai Taxi Corporation has equipped its taxis and school buses with automated engine fire suppression equipment

The Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) has automatic engine fire suppression systems on its taxis and school buses. Both drivers and passengers will be kept safe because of the system's ability to independently identify and put out flames. The driver doesn't need to become involved with the fire suppression systems.

The fire-extinguishing substance is automatically applied directly to the source of the fire when the system in taxis senses dangerously high temperatures. Following that, the fire is extinguished automatically in a matter of seconds. Through a pneumatic sensing tube, the automatic system in buses can detect and put out engine fires. A distribution network and specialised nozzles are used to apply extinguishing powder as soon as it is exposed to fire hazards.
