The well-known international e-hailing cab service, Bolt will make its debut in Dubai before the year ends. It is the first time the service has been offered in the United Arab Emirates and is currently available in more than 600 locations throughout the globe, including London, Paris, and Riyadh. This is the result of a strategic partnership between the Estonian ride-hailing platform and the Dubai Taxi operator, which is the biggest taxi operator in the UAE.
The two companies came to an agreement on Tuesday, October 15, during the GITEX Global conference. Since the Dubai Taxi Company owns a fleet of more than 6,000 cars, you will be able to hail a cab using Bolt in almost half of the cabs in the emirate.
Bolt is used by over 200 million people worldwide and is available in more than 50 nations on five continents. By facilitating travel, the shared mobility platform links to current transportation options and attempts to lower the total number of cars owned and operated in large cities.
The program also provides short-term automobile rentals in foreign nations, as well as food and grocery delivery, scooter and e-bike rentals, and more. However, it's unclear at this moment whether the UAE will supply these items.
