Dubai Summer Surprises kicks off this weekend; UAE residents and visitors can win prizes, shopping discounts, and other offers

Shoppers may enter the Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) to win millions of dirhams in cash, dining discounts, staycation specials, BOGO jewellery bargains, and more, beginning this weekend.

In collaboration with gasoline supplier Enoc, the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) is holding two raffles, one of which will offer locals a weekly opportunity to win Dh500,000 in cash. The second raffle, the DSS Mega Raffle, will take place from June 16 to August 26 and offer eight winners the opportunity to win Mini Coopers. Customers may purchase raffle certificates for Dh50 at specific malls or ENOC stations. A draw will take place for every 10,000 tickets sold.

The DSS Daily Surprises, which will run from July 2 to August 4, will give bargain hunters 34 days of daily surprises across sports, fashion, beauty, and home labels. Details for each day’s surprise will only be unveiled 24 hours beforehand.

Customers may win unique offers, such as BOGO jewellery discounts, and Dh100,000 coupons. Spending a certain amount can also earn them gold plates and other rewards. There will be discounts of up to 50% on diamonds and pearls, and reduced manufacturing costs on gold and exceptional presents upon purchase, at 150 participating Dubai Jewellery Group locations from June 10 to July 15.

From June 28 to September 1, Wafi City will be running its promotion. Customers who spend at least Dh300 at any mall retailer will be entered into a grand lottery for a chance to win a stunning 22.2-carat diamond necklace and earrings set in 18-carat white gold, valued at Dh70,000.

Malls will launch their back-to-school promotions in August. Customers may purchase a digital raffle ticket for Dh200, entitling them to a chance to win a portion of Dh100,000. There will be twenty winners who will each get Dh5,000. 

This year is Modhesh World's 25th anniversary as an educational facility. The festivities will include the 25th Raffle Draw. The facility is offering weekly rewards of Dh25,000 for five weeks, as well as a grand prize of Dh250,000 to those who spend time and money there.

Modhesh World will also be awarding 25 scholarships, each worth Dh20,000, as part of the back-to-school promotion. 

The facility and Roxy Cinemas will collaborate on a different promotion dubbed 25 Days, 25 Surprises, wherein presents will be given away for 25 days. They have set up a Mama's Movie Club that will screen vintage, family-friendly films all summer long. On the huge screen, families may watch their favourite movies while enjoying endless refills of popcorn.

Returning this year, Summer Restaurant Week will run from August 23 to September 1. A carefully chosen selection of the best family-friendly restaurants including particularly discounted lunch and supper set menus is available for foodies to enjoy. 

Beginning on July 15, a brand-new option called Sizzling Summer Eats will also be available this year. A carefully curated list of 100 of Dubai's greatest family-friendly restaurants is offering amazing savings to foodies for 30 days. The reductions start at 20% for two diners and go up to 30% for four.

A unique DSS Entertainer package, consisting of 7,000 BOGO deals at some of the greatest restaurants, attractions, water parks, spas, and other destination experiences in Dubai, will also be available. With discounts available every day of the week, it is priced at just Dh 195.
