Dubai schools, nurseries and universities will close for remote learning on Friday December 1

Ahead of the UAE National Day celebration on Friday, December 1, Dubai's nurseries, colleges, and schools will close for remote learning. The news from the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) came on X (Twitter) post.

The UAE National Day holiday will be observed with a three-day weekend for both the public and private sectors, according to a statement made yesterday by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MoHRE).

People will get Monday, December 4, off from work, as part of the holiday, which is scheduled to span from Saturday, December 2, to Monday, December 4. Wednesday, November 30 is the last day of classes; on Tuesday, December 5, students will resume their classes.
