Dubai’s skyscraper - the Muraba Veil, earns the distinction of being one of the narrowest skyscrapers ever built

The Muraba Veil, Dubai's newest architectural marvel, is sure to draw notice for its unusually thin shape rather than its towering height. This 380-meter-tall building will only be one apartment wide, making it one of the thinnest skyscrapers ever constructed. This remarkable 22.5-meter-wide tower, which challenges traditional skyscraper aesthetics and makes a powerful statement in urban architecture, is located along Sheikh Zayed Road and the Dubai Canal. The flats are priced starting at Dh18 million.

The Pritzker Prize-winning Spanish company RCR Arquitectes created the 73-story Muraba Veil, which will hold 131 apartments with panoramic views on both sides that span the whole width of the structure. Apart from these elite apartments, the skyscraper will have opulent features like a padel court, art gallery, fine dining restaurant, spa, and private cinema.

The designers emphasized that the layout of the apartments, which are based on traditional Arab homes and placed around an interior courtyard to provide a calm, private living space, is firmly anchored in the local culture.

The Muraba Veil, which highlights a ten-year engagement focused on fusing architecture with the natural environment, is the result of Muraba and RCR Arquitectes' fifth collaboration. Rafael Aranda, the founder of RCR Arquitectes, stated, "We are passionate about ensuring our buildings respond to their place and belong in the native landscape.
