Dubais RTA ties up with Careem; offers bike rides free of charge across 186 docking stations in the emirate for an unlimited number of trips

Dubai residents will be able to ride their bikes for free each day for an unlimited number of journeys as Dubai RTA has partnered with Careem. With this facility,  residents can have free bike rides across 186 docking stations around the emirate for an unlimited number of journeys, as long as each trip does not last more than 45 minutes.

The offer will be available on June 10, 2023, in honor of World Environment Day, which is observed every year on June 5.

Customers may use the Careem app to get free rides by choosing "Bike" under "Go" on the main screen. Customers may select the "One Day" pass and take advantage of a free ride with the code "Free," giving them access all day long. Participants must provide their card information, but they will not be charged.

RTA urged neighborhood organizations to develop healthier routines and employ adaptable transport options while engaging in leisure and physical activity.

Careem Bike has saved more than 2.5 tonnes of CO2 since its inception in February 2020, which is the same amount of CO2 as 713 automobiles would have produced in a year.

In City Walk, Business Bay, Dubai Media City, Karama, Al Mankhool, and Kite Beach, Careem Bikes are accessible.
