Dubais RTA recognised exceptional performance of 100 Ideal Taxi drivers through the Taxi Sector Excellence Award

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), with the Taxi Sector Excellence Award, recently honoured 100 Ideal Taxi drivers for their outstanding performance. 

The event was held at RTA's Head Office and featured Ahmed Hashem Bahrozyan, CEO of the Public Transport Agency, and Nabil Yousef Al Ali, Director of Drivers' Affairs and head of the team in charge of the Taxi Excellence Awards. A number of directors and representatives from taxi franchise companies were also present.

The Roads and Transport Authority commends Dubai's taxi industry's extraordinary expansion and the competition among its operators. It also recognises the efforts of everybody involved. This expansion includes the Hala Taxi service, hourly car rentals, and e-hail taxis. RTA is dedicated to improving the taxi service going forward since it understands how important it is to meeting Dubai residents' everyday mobility demands.
