Free public parking for the Union Day holiday has been announced by Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority. According to the authorities, parking will be available for free from Saturday, December 2, until Monday, December 4. With the exception of multi-level terminals, this will apply to all public parking. The next parking tax is scheduled for Tuesday, December 5, 2023.
The operating hours for all other services were also disclosed by RTA. The following locations and services are affected by the change in business hours: customer satisfaction centres, paid parking lots, public transportation, Dubai Metro and Tram, maritime transportation, and service provider centres (which do car servicing).
Beginning on Saturday, December 2nd, service provider centres will be closed for the holiday. On Monday, December 4, the technical inspection services for automobiles will only be available again at the following locations: Tasjeel Al Twar, AutoPro Satwa, AutoPro Al Mankhool, Tasjeel Al Awir, and Al Yalayis. Transactions will once again be accepted in all centres by Tuesday, December 5.
