Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) installed 4,500 interactive displays to provide travellers access to a wide range of high-end lifestyle, news, entertainment, deals, and promotions while they're on the road.
The creative effort, which debuted on Tuesday, attempts to make taxi drivers in the emirate happier. This plan comes after a highly successful trial of interactive digital screens installed in 250 taxis by RTA in 2022, in partnership with Hala, an e-hailing cab solution provider, and Binary Media, a passenger experience firm.
Santosh Sarma, co-founder and chief executive officer of Binary Media, Ahmed Bahrozyan, CEO of Public Transport Agency at RTA, and Khaled Nuseibeh, CEO of Hala, attended a ceremonial signing ceremony to formally launch the project.
The Public Transport Agency at RTA's CEO, Ahmed Bahrozyan, expressed his gladness at the start of this project, which seeks to increase taxi users' contentment and happiness.
Through interactive digital screens, guests may enjoy distinctive experiences provided by Binary's Onboard Entertainment System.
Currently, Hala oversees 21,000 captains on its platform, and its franchise partners supply a fleet of 12,000 automobiles for both residents and tourists of Dubai.
