Throughout the first quarter of 2025, Dubai's population grew steadily, surpassing 3.9 million for the first time as newcomers kept coming. Data from the Dubai Statistics Centre shows that the population of the emirate increased by 51,295 from January to March 2025 compared to 52,143 during the same period the previous year. This indicates that Dubai and the United Arab Emirates continue to be highly attractive to foreign professionals and billionaires.
There were 3.914 million people living in Dubai at the end of the first quarter of 2025.
The regional financial center's population is predicted to hit the 4 million milestone in the third quarter of this year if it keeps growing at its current rate.
Numerous industries, including real estate, retail, food and beverage (F&B), travel and tourism, hospitality, and many more, will expand as a result of the emirate's expanding population.
