Dubai's new airport introduces automated services and quick luggage delivery for passengers

Dubai: Travelers landing at Dubai World Central’s newly upgraded terminal will find their luggage waiting for them upon arrival, or they can opt for it to be delivered directly to their homes or hotels, according to dnata CEO Steve Allen.

“Our focus is on delivering the ultimate passenger experience, fully automated and queue-free, using advanced biometrics to ensure a seamless journey through the airport,” said Allen.

dnata, part of the Emirates Group, remains the exclusive air services provider for airlines operating at Dubai Airports. Since opening 14 years ago, DWC - Al Maktoum International has been working towards becoming the world’s busiest airport, with a planned capacity to process 260 million passengers annually—100 million more than earlier projections.
