Dubai's municipality announced the closure of all beaches, public parks and markets in the emirate on Wednesday

Owing to the UAE's weather, all beaches, public parks, and marketplaces are closed in the emirate. The same was announced by the Dubai Municipality on Wednesday.

Multiple emirates have announced the availability of distant learning. Additionally, the UAE has declared that government workers would now be able to work remotely and recommended companies in the private sector to provide this option. Travelers have also received advisories from airlines and Dubai Airport. 

The UAE has taken proactive steps to address the weather, and officials have reassured citizens that their primary concern continues to be safety.

A weather advisory for "medium to heavy rains" is in effect for the next two days in the UAE, as the nation gets ready for bad weather starting today.
