The Dubai’s Metro Music Festival will make a comeback in September, taking place across five main metro stations. The fourth edition of the festival will run from September 21 to September 27.
Every day, five main metro stations—Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, BurJuman, Union, and Dubai Multi Commodities Centre—will have performances from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Twenty exceptional musicians from the UAE and throughout the world will enthrall spectators with their regular performances, bringing stations to life.
This year's featured instruments include the Qanun (a type of string instrument), drums, accordion, flute, violin, saxophone, piano, balafon, darbuka, keytar, marimba, and various other percussion instruments from across the globe. In addition, there will be performances by musicians on handpans, pipe drum, electric guitar, and homemade instruments.
There will also be beatboxing demonstrations, a live music puppet show, and a lively exhibition of world rhythms.
The festival will include kid-friendly activities such as a drumming display and visually stunning drumming acts with light effects.
