Dubai RTA’s smart kiosk provides 28 different types of vehicle-related digital services

The public may access 28 various types of digital services relating to car licencing, drivers, parking, nol, and revenue management services (licencing, sales invoicing, etc.) through the RTA's brand-new, state-of-the-art smart kiosk, which is open 24/7 to serve the requirements of the general public. The new kiosks provide their customers a range of payment methods, including cash, credit card, and payment via NFC on cellphones.

To meet its strategic goals of increasing customer satisfaction, RTA has introduced a new generation of 32 smart kiosks with cutting-edge features and contemporary designs to promote simplicity of use and give its services around the clock to everybody, even persons of determination. A large interactive screen with a fingerprint sensor, a credit, debit, or Emirates ID insertion unit, an NFC tapping unit, and a keyboard for manually inputting card information for payment make up the device.

The RTA main building, customer satisfaction centres, primary service provider centres, and at various crucial places in the Emirate of Dubai are among the 21 locations where the kiosks are situated.

In accordance with the directives of the Dubai government and the goals of the Hamdan bin Mohammed Smart Government Programme to improve government services, achieve customer happiness, and provide the necessary support in accordance with international best practises, the RTA's smart kiosks project presents itself as a successful example of utilising the most recent technologies to enhance the customer experience.

According to RTA, the new kiosks are distinguished by an automatic and sophisticated performance monitoring function to track the operation of the kiosks and continually improve services, which helps to provide clients with high-quality, effective services around the clock. The goal of RTA's project to modernise smart kiosks is to enhance and develop the customer experience with digital services. The project will begin in 2021. Since then, the initiative has had substantial demand, success in improving consumer satisfaction, and success in helping the community. In order to better serve a wider range of clients, it also featured an increase in the number of kiosks and their placements, with 8 new kiosks being introduced in 6 locations and 24 additional kiosks being renovated.
