Dubai police are set to roll out fully autonomous and AI-equipped vehicles

Dubai Police has included innovation and artificial intelligence which has enhanced its ability to be one of the safest cities in the world and will undoubtedly continue to be a secure haven for citizens and visitors. The police are going to introduce completely autonomous and AI-equipped cars that can scan licence plates and faces, as well as notify the authorities when necessary, making the city's roads and streets even safer.

With the use of face recognition and vehicle number plate scanning that is connected to the systems, the vehicle will travel through the city's communal areas and notify the authorities about anyone who is sought by the police as well as automobiles that are not registered.

Additionally, the vehicle would aid in the capture of those who are living in the nation illegally after overstaying their visas.

At the ongoing Dubai Airshow 2023 at the Dubai World Central, the vehicle is on exhibit at the Dubai Police booth. November 17, 2023, is the last day of the airshow. Made in the United Arab Emirates in collaboration with Micropolis Robotics, the MO2 machine has a maximum operating duration of 16 hours. The authority has been working on the vehicle for years and wants to make sure it performs as well as it can.
