06 Jan 2025
NewsThe first phase of the Al Mamzar Beach Development Project is nearly finished and the Dubai Municipality has granted the contract for the second phase, which will focus on enhancing the coastline at Al Mamzar Corniche.
A special public beach for women with night swimming facilities, a sports club, children's play areas, and running, walking, and cycling routes are just a few of the attractions of the forthcoming Al Mamzar Corniche Beach, which will stretch 125,000 square metres and be 80 metres wide.
Both phases of the project are planned to be completed by the end of 2025, at a cost of roughly Dh400 million.
The unique design of running, walking, and cycling trails connecting Al Mamzar Creek Beach and Al Mamzar Park is the first of its kind in the region, bringing beach paths and park areas together. These will also include green spaces that are designed to meet the greatest aesthetic requirements.
There will also be a 5,000-square-metre area for seasonal events and activities, as well as a 2,000-square-metre skating area. AI-enabled surveillance systems, drowning rescue technology, crowd management tools, and smart luggage lockers will also be in place.
