Dubai Municipality announced the Wosool seal for building permits; buildings to comply with the standards for people of determination

In order to be certified as person-friendly for those with determination, all newly constructed buildings in Dubai must be universally accessible and get a specific seal. Buildings must meet the requirements for persons of determination to be approved for permits, and the Dubai Municipality said on Tuesday that the emirate now has the "Wosool" seal for construction permissions and building completion certificates.

Entrances and exits on ramps that are appropriate, health facilities, rooms set aside for people of determination, easy-to-access doors, designated parking spaces and locations, and other amenities that ensure seamless access to the buildings are all requirements for buildings that are friendly to people of determination.

According to the Dubai Building Code, which aims to standardise building designs throughout the emirate, the Wosool seal will now be required for new construction proposals. The Dubai Municipality arranges a number of recurring field trips to inspect and oversee building projects. It also goes through architectural designs one more time to make sure that, as stated in authorised plans, all residential, commercial, markets, public buildings, services buildings, parks, and other things have specific facilities for persons of determination.
