Dubai Municipality and DP World to develop the world's largest logistics hub for foodstuffs, fruit, and vegetable trade

As part of the emirate's next major logistical project, Dubai plans to double the size of its present fruit and vegetable market. 

The world's largest logistical hub for the trading of fruits, vegetables, and food items will be developed by two significant organisations, Dubai Municipality and DP World.

The massive project was unveiled on Wednesday by Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE's Minister of Finance, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and Deputy Prime Minister.

It is anticipated that the growth of the DP World-managed fruit and vegetable market would lead to new investment possibilities. 

The two parties' agreement calls for the introduction of a single trade window for all processes and the whole customer experience.
