NewsAs part of the 'We Bring You Closer' campaign, Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has installed unique phone booths at Dubai Metro stations that allow passengers to contact with their loved ones around the globe.
During the holy month of Ramadan, Metro subscribers may stay in touch with their loved ones by making free international calls. Four phone booths have been installed at four metro stations, including Al Ghubaiba, Union, and Jebel Ali Metro stations, in cooperation with Keolis, the operator of Dubai Metro and Tram.
During this holy time, millions of expats in the emirate part from their families, thus these phone booths set up in the stations provide a priceless chance to reaffirm family ties and make new acquaintances.
RTA launched a number of community-driven and humanitarian projects during Ramadan, with the theme "Journey of Good." These programmes are designed to improve community involvement and teamwork, and they are being carried out in partnership with RTA volunteers and Keolis, the operator of Dubai Metro and Trams. These coordinated efforts will result in the execution of a range of Ramadan-focused events, activities, and initiatives that are aimed at an inclusive community that includes workers and Abra passengers as well as RTA employees, bus drivers, delivery motorcyclists, and truck drivers.
