Dubai Health announced a Dh50-million fund that will provide medical treatment to 3,000 children

At Al Jalila Children's Hospital, 3,000 underprivileged children will get medical care annually thanks to a Dh50 million fund launched by Dubai Health on Tuesday.

Al Jalila Foundation's 'Child Fund' expands on the organization's extensive record of transforming lives and providing impoverished children with an opportunity at a better life.

The organisation has helped more than 8,600 individuals receiving medical treatment for life-threatening illnesses like cancer, cardiovascular disease, and other chronic illnesses thanks to contributors and good samaritans. Children make about thirty percent of these recipients.

"The Giving Wall" was presented at the opening as a memorial to the contributors who have improved the lives of children by supporting the Al Jalila Foundation. They were asked to formally support the Dh50 million yearly fund by signing a commitment.

The vice-chairman of the Dubai Health Board of Directors, Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, sent his appreciation to all contributors and donors who are essential in maintaining the greatest calibre standards in the Dubai health system.

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, Tarahum, Albatha Holding, Iffco, Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment, Easa Saleh Al Gurg Charity Foundation, and Awqaf Dubai are a few of the foundation's partners.
