Dubai has renamed its International Humanitarian City 'Dubai Humanitarian', marking 20 years of operating as a global bridge of compassion and collaboration. The city marked the occasion on Monday with an event attended by around 250 renowned guests. Dubai Humanitarian announced the opening of its Knowledge and Development Centre at the event.
This new facility in Dubai Humanitarian's warehouse compound represents a commitment to knowledge sharing and capacity building in the humanitarian industry.
Dubai Humanitarian, originally International Humanitarian City, is the world's largest humanitarian hub.
Dubai Humanitarian is the sole non-profit, independent humanitarian free-zone authority, with a diversified community of about 80 members. This community includes international institutions such as the United Nations, non-profits, non-governmental organizations, and commercial corporations that work together to advance humanitarian and development activities around the world.
