Dubai emigration department has introduced stricter requirements for obtaining a tourist visa

In order to secure a tourist visa, passengers must now submit hotel booking paperwork with a QR code and a copy of their return ticket, according to the Dubai emigration department's tighter rules. Applications for visas may be delayed if travel companies do not provide certain documents during the application procedure, as they have been directed to do.

The revised rules require that return tickets and hotel booking paperwork be uploaded to the emigration department's website at the time of application; they are no longer optional. While trading companies, individuals, or families can handle visit visas, only travel agencies are permitted to apply for tourist visas. Nonetheless, both visa categories are subject to the same regulations.

Additionally, applicants’ credit or debit cards must have adequate financial resources. For two-month visas, the required amount is 5,000 Dirhams, and for three-month visas, it is 3,000 Dirhams.

Indian Travelers' Options for Visas Traveling to Dubai:

Indian passport holders who want to go to Dubai have a variety of visa options that can accommodate both quick trips and longer stays. These include the recently implemented five-year multiple-entry visa, non-extendable visas, and visa-on-arrival.

Indian passport holders can choose to enter Dubai with a 14-day visa-on-arrival, which can be extended by an extra 14 days. They need to fulfill the following requirements in order to be eligible:

- a passport that will still be valid six months after the date of arrival.

- a current UK residency visa, EU residency visa, USA visitation visa, or USA green card.

- If visitors fulfill the requirements, this option provides flexibility for brief stays.

2. Non-Extendable 60-Day Visa: Passengers may apply for a 60-day non-extendable visa if they plan to remain longer. This visa is a good option for travelers or those visiting relatives and friends because the application fees comply with UAE laws.

3. Five-Year Multiple-Entry Visa: In an effort to strengthen travel and business relations between the two nations, Dubai has also granted Indian nationals a five-year multiple-entry visa. This visa, which is intended for business professionals, regular travelers, and people with family ties in the area, permits frequent trips to Dubai.
