Next week, Sheikh Zayed Road—Dubai's major thoroughfare—will be closed to cars for one day.
On Sunday, November 12, the normally bustling route will be blocked to traffic in honour of Dubai Fitness Challenge's Dubai Ride.
Additionally, in association with Adidas, Les Mills, and DFC, a Guinness World Record attempt to break the record for the largest high-intensity interval train class would be held on Sheikh Zayed Road's asphalt that same day. It’s yet to be confirmed as to the exact times that the road will be closed. Dubai’s Road and Transport Authority (RTA) will share details closer to the time.
