Dubai Comedy Festival from April 12 to April 21; well-known comedians across the world will be performing at Dubai Opera and the Coca-Cola Arena

News EventSome of the most well-known comedians in the world will be performing at Dubai Opera and the Coca-Cola Arena, two of the largest venues in Dubai, from Friday, April 12 to Sunday, April 21. Furthermore, Roxy Cinemas in Dubai Hills Mall will now present a number of shows that highlight prominent figures in the South African, Emirati, and Egyptian comedy scenes.
Stand Up Bel Masry, an English-language comedy showcase from Egypt, features with South African comedians Alfred Adriaan and Riaad Moosa.
The Canadian performer Katherine Ryan has been added to the lineup for the Dubai Comedy Festival. She will take the stage on Friday, April 12 on the opening night at Dubai Opera.
The comic icons Frank Skinner, Al Murray, and Gad Elmaleh were announced as the first headline acts at Dubai Opera's main stage in February.
There are still more names to be revealed, but the festival will begin next month.
The esteemed Dubai Opera and the magnificent Coca-Cola Arena are only two of the locations where the 2024 Dubai Comedy Festival will take place.
For the first time, Dubai Opera's performances will feature a central, walkable setup that will enable attendees to move between shows or stay in one area, creating an authentic festival atmosphere that encourages socializing.
Tickets for the event went on sale, On Friday, February 16, with prices starting at Dhs105.
Having appeared in two well-received Netflix specials and several performances on prominent UK panel shows like 8 Out of 10 Cats, Canadian comic Katherine Ryan has a devoted global audience.
Frank Skinner and Al Murray are well-known among British expatriates due to their numerous TV appearances on UK networks, particularly their respective roles on the hit program Taskmaster.
On Monday, April 15, Frank Skinner's observational humor will take the stage at the Dubai Opera Hall. The next day, Al Murray will also play there.
For Frank Skinner's event, tickets start at Dhs250, while those for Al Murray start at Dhs195.
Gad Elmaleh, known as the "Seinfeld of France," is likewise well-known in the French-speaking world for his approachable, everyday humor.
On Friday, April 12, and Saturday, April 13, he will play twice in French at the Dubai Opera main auditorium to kick off the festival. Tickets for both evenings start at Dhs 250.
Known by his stage name Bassi, Indian comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi has a large fan base on the internet and is scheduled to present his new act "Kisi Ko Batana Mat" in Dubai as part of the festival.
Along with podcasters Spencer and Vogue, British stand-up comedian Mo Gilligan, and American comedians Chris Distefano and Amer Zahr have also been revealed.
