Dubai-based company Aviterra has placed an order for over 100 flying cars to take residents from door to door

Around 100 flying cars have been ordered by the Dubai-based startup Aviterra, which will transport inhabitants door to door when it launches in 2025–2026. Two-seater PAL-V Liberty flying cars were ordered by Aviterra, owned by private jet charter Jetex, to provide last-mile options for locals.

According to Mouhanad Wadaa, managing director of Aviterra, people can park their cars in the villa or parking lot. Because it is a hybrid of a gyroplane and an automobile, the PAL-V Liberty is said to as the first actual flying car in history. It was designed to improve travel flexibility and be free from traffic jams. Liberty reduces commuting and travel times with a 500 km flight range and a 180 km/h top speed. Aviterra's investment division, Loggia Investment, has formed alliances and made a significant investment in PAL-V for the Middle East and Africa.

Leading the way in the adoption of last-mile mobility solutions are Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Dubai and the US-based Joby Aviation recently reached an agreement for the six-year operation of air taxis in Dubai. In order to operate flying cars, the US-based Archer and the UAE-based Falcon Aviation agreed to construct vertiports in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
