Dubai-based carrier - Flydubai, named Airline of the Year at the Aviator Middle East Awards

The Dubai-based airline Flydubai won the Aviator Middle East Awards (formerly known as The Aviation Business Middle East Awards) Airline of the Year.

Flydubai's Senior Vice President of Inflight Operations, Daniel Kerrison, collected the award on the airline's behalf during a ceremony on Tuesday in Dubai. Notable figures from the tourism and aviation sectors were present at the event.

Selected by professionals in the field, airlines that exhibit an unmatched dedication to passenger contentment, security, creativity, and superior operational performance within the area are recognised with this award.Flydubai was acknowledged for raising the bar for the industry by providing outstanding in-flight experiences, running smoothly, and boosting the Middle East's economic development and worldwide connections.

Flydubai launched flights to Krabi and Pattaya in Thailand, Milan-Bergamo in Italy, Cairo in Egypt, and Poznan in Poland at the beginning of 2023, adding more than 20 destinations to its expanding network. Flydubai is scheduled to launch its newest destinations, Mombasa in Kenya on January 17, 2024, and Langkawi and Penang in Malaysia on February 10.

Flydubai has established a burgeoning network encompassing over 120 destinations throughout 54 countries, which is facilitated by a youthful and proficient fleet of 84 Boeing 737 aircraft. The airline will keep adding to its fleet and expanding its wide network, both of which are aided by a continuous hiring initiative aimed at luring top people.

Flydubai made a number of noteworthy announcements during this year's Dubai Airshow, including a historic order for thirty Boeing 787 Dreamliners, a multimillion-dollar Full-Flight Simulator and Training Facility, and a specially designed MRO facility.
