Dubai Airports marked Emirati Women's Day by surprising travellers with beautifully crafted luggage tags

Emirati Women's Day was established by the Mother of the Nation, Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, to honour the vital role that women play in the advancement of their country. Every year, on August 28 in the United Arab Emirates, a theme is introduced to emphasise different facets of women's empowerment and their influence on society.

As a testament to the UAE's dedication to women's empowerment, the celebration in 2024 has remained focused on the increasing impact of Emirati women in the fields of leadership, education, business, science, and the arts.

Dubai Airports commemorated the day by providing travellers with a sentimental gift. Travellers arriving at Dubai International Airport were pleasantly pleased to see exquisitely designed baggage tags—a kind act that honours the accomplishments and pride of Emirati women.

With this effort, Dubai Airports hopes to spread this pride around the world and enable visitors from other countries to take a little bit of UAE celebrations home with them.
