Diwan authored by UAE's Founding Father has been proudly introduced by the Cultural Programs and Heritage Festivals Committee of Abu Dhabi

As part of the Abu Dhabi Poetry Festival, the Cultural Programmes and Heritage Festivals Committee of Abu Dhabi is happy to present a book written by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founding Father of the UAE. This is an important cultural achievement.

This enchanting work of literature, appropriately named "Diwan," includes 149 outstanding samples of Sheikh Zayed's own poetry as well as his insightful comments to notable poets of the age. These literary masterworks explore a broad range of subjects, including patriotism, fraternity, and the complex web of social life that shaped Sheikh Zayed's identity.

The premiere of "Diwan" is evidence of the unwavering devotion and commitment to caring for and safeguarding the rich legacy of the United Arab Emirates. This literary treasure trove serves as a moving reminder of the ideals, discernment, and lyrical talent of Sheikh Zayed, the visionary leader whose influence is still felt throughout the country.
