Dhai Dubai Light Art Festival 2024, the celebration of of light, art, and culture, will be concluding on February 4

A brand-new, free immersive light display is available in Dubai. A celebration of light, art, and culture, the "Dhai Dubai Light Art Festival" in Expo City Dubai features interactive light art works by well-known Emirati artists. The light festival, which has seven light projects that capture the spirit and legacy of Dubai, began on Friday, January 26 and runs through Sunday, February 4.

In order to provide an immersive experience, many installations also allow visitors to move, touch, and interact with the light displays. Children may participate in free arts and crafts classes in addition to the light shows.

The seven light art projects surround the Al Wasl dome area and are dispersed along Sunset Avenue, Sidr Avenue, Mangrove Avenue, and Sky Avenue.

The festival offers attendees the opportunity to engage with three exhibits in addition to viewing the installations:

- Speed of Light Skate Park: Artist Aysha Al Hamrani from the United Arab Emirates created this exhibit, which highlights skating as an art form.

- Solar Canopy: Using stationary bike power, visitors may power this interactive light display.

- Elysian Arcs: This exhibit allows visitors to stroll beneath an inflatable tunnel structure and take in a kaleidoscope of colour and light.

Six free workshops for children are held every day from 6 to 11 pm, during the festival.

Solar Lanterns:

Youngsters use recyclable materials and solar-powered LED lights to make their lanterns.

Glow Jars:

Using LED tea lights, biodegradable paper, and repurposed jars, kids can create colourful lanterns.

Kaleidoscope Craft:

Kids are taught how to make kaleidoscopes. This is intended for kids who are six to twelve years old.

Recycled Radiance: Upcycled Luminaries:

Children construct light sculptures out of a variety of recyclable materials.

Glow in the Dark painting:

Children will use neon paints and black paper to create glow-in-the-dark artwork for this project.

Colourful shadows:

Children may learn how to make shadows and how to draw or trace around them in this activity.
