DEWA has signed MoU with the UAE Space Agency to enhance both parties role in developing the space sector

The UAE Space Agency and Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen their joint efforts to advance the space industry.

This is accomplished by assisting with research and development and adding to space-related rules. Additionally, through cooperation with Moro Hub, a division of Digital DEWA, the digital arm of DEWA, the MoU will help the agency's Space Data Centre (SDC).

Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA, and Sarah Al Amiri, Minister of State for Public Education and Advanced Technology and Chairperson of the UAE Space Agency, signed the Memorandum of Understanding.
