Later this year, Defected Records will organise a three-day house music event. Defected Dubai will take place at three separate sites around the city from Friday, October 13 to Sunday, October 15.
Dunmore Brothers, Groove Armada, Hannah Wants, Roger Sanchez, and many more are now on the bill. DJs including Alex Mills, Catz n Dogz, and Syreeta will also perform. Tickets for the whole weekend cost Dhs750, but if you only want to go for one day, early bird pricing start at Dhs200.
The three-day festival will begin on Friday, October 13 at an unnamed warehouse (which has never been utilised before). Defected Dubai will take place on the beaches of Soul Beach on Saturday, October 14. Finally, on Sunday, October 15, Defected Records will host a pool party. The site is yet to be determined. Defected Dubai will bring the culture of the record label to the city.
Defected Records is a musical label that was founded in 1999. It has since produced some of the greatest house bangers, like Masters at Work's To Be in Love, Bob Sinclar's Love Generation, and, most recently, CamelPhat and Elderbrook's Cola.
