Customised hydrogen-powered city buses to provide green mobility solutions in Abudhabi

Abu Dhabi will soon see the introduction of bespoke hydrogen-powered municipal buses from a China-based technology business that creates and develops zero-emission commercial vehicles.

To supply green mobility solutions to the emirate through its distributor Emirates Global Motor Electric (EGME), a division of the Al Fahim Group, Wisdom Motor signed a collaboration agreement with the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) of the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) in Abu Dhabi.

Reducing carbon emissions by 105 kg per 100 km of travel, the 12-meter hydrogen fuel cell city bus has a 500km driving range.

The collaboration deal was announced this week by the ITC together with the Green Bus Programme, an innovative project that supports Abu Dhabi's dedication to sustainability. With the use of environmentally friendly public transit, Abu Dhabi Island is supposed to become a green area by 2030. The goal of Abu Dhabi authorities' worldwide alliances and strategic partnerships is to build a sustainable future.

The zero-emission commercial vehicle solutions company was established in Fujian, China, and has its headquarters in Hong Kong. Through a mix of technology, customization, and precise manufacturing at its production base in Fujian, Wisdom Motor offers state-of-the-art, customizable commercial cars.

The firm is the first to deliver hydrogen-powered double-decker buses and the first to provide double-decker buses with three axles in its home base of Hong Kong.
