Child Protection Policy endorsed to provide support for families and caregivers, creating a nurturing environment for children

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, presided over a council meeting where he supported the Child Protection Policy, which aims to help carers and families while fostering a loving environment for children. The Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority worked with a number of organisations to design the policy, which attempts to safeguard children by assisting families in creating a nurturing environment for them.

The recently approved policy encourages equity, prohibits discrimination, and strengthens the ability to act quickly in the event of abuse or neglect.

The significance of offering the early childhood environment all kinds of assistance and care was underlined by Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed. He also emphasised how important it is to get kids involved in initiatives and activities that help them develop resilience and life skills. The creation of educational initiatives to inform parents and families about the dangers and challenges that children may encounter on the social, psychological, and physical fronts should also be a priority.

In order to provide young people the skills they need to lead the country, the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince emphasised that putting money into early childhood education is crucial for preserving children's wellness, protecting their rights, and creating a healthy atmosphere in which to grow them.
