Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council opened this years edition of The Hotel Show

This year’s edition of The Hotel Show, the region's premier exhibition for the hospitality industry, and INDEX, the region’s leading interior and fit-out trade show was opened by the Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Leading interior design professionals, hotel developers, merchants, and fit-out contractors from the hotel, residential, commercial, and retail sectors have all come together at the event.

The event's high-level networking sessions, seminars, and live demos give guests a platform to investigate alliances and new business prospects in their respective sectors and include exhibitors and industry professionals from all over the world.

The Hotel Show, which is taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from now through May 25, showcases a wide range of cutting-edge goods, services, and technologies that have been specially designed to meet the changing needs of the contemporary hotel industry. This includes important industries like hospitality technology, operating supplies & equipment, and food services. The trade event will host 13,000 people and will have 400 exhibitors from across the world in addition to 100 specialists.

At INDEX, the leading interior and fit-out trade show in the region, Sheikh Mansoor visited a number of company pavilions and was briefed on the most recent products and services on display as well as initiatives and programmes that are establishing new trends in the interior design sector.

His Highness noted the rising international participation in the expo and said it reflected Dubai's expanding prominence as a top worldwide centre for trade shows. Comparing this year's event to last year's, attendance is expected to climb by 34%.
