Campus-based healthcare at 313 public schools in the United Arab Emirates has recently established an electronic link with Emirates Health Services (EHS), allowing for the safe exchange of student medical information and expedited vaccination processing times.
As the initial stage of a larger project to promote students' well-being, the government schools in Dubai, Fujairah, and other locations are connected to the EHS preventative school health programme. The course now has over 164,000 registered students.
Over 170,000 vaccination doses have been effectively provided by EHS as part of the school-age National Immunisation Programme. The vaccination procedure has been expedited via electronic documentation, cutting the processing time for each student to less than five minutes.
The curriculum has been created by EHS to address the "full spectrum" of kids' health, mental, physical, and preventative requirements. A specialised database and electronic medical file, comprising the student's medical history and an all-inclusive log of all medical treatments and preventative measures taken, are provided. Accurately determining the health requirements of kids and enhancing communication amongst educators, parents, and medical teams are two benefits of electronic integration.
