Plans are in place for thrilling festivities this UAE National Day weekend. The yearly public holiday is scheduled to take place the following weekend, from Saturday, November 25, to Monday, December 4, 2023. The official UAE National Day celebration at Expo City and a spectacular show in Global Village are only two of the many events taking place around the emirates, but the main attraction is generally a series of free fireworks shows.
Bluewaters in Dubai has said that their fireworks show will begin at 9 p.m. on Saturday, December 2. To enjoy most of the celebrations, get down to Bluewaters early. There will be plenty of family-friendly activities there as well as roving entertainment.
In celebration of the 52nd UAE National Day, fireworks shows are scheduled at a number of locations.
Al Maryah Island and Yas Island in Abu Dhabi are the best places to see the fireworks, with Yas Bay Waterfront being the best location.
Fireworks display as part of the ongoing Sheikh Zayed Festival will take place in Al Wathba from December 1 to December 3.
Some hotels, including Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, will also include their own fireworks and light displays.
The public and hotel guests alike will be able to see the massive performance at 9 p.m. on Saturday, December 2.
