Autonomous water taxis for passenger transportation to be introduced in Abu Dhabi City

As part of an innovative partnership to transform land, air, and marine operations with AI and robotic solutions, autonomous water taxis for passenger transportation in Abu Dhabi City and unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) for freight movement will soon be implemented.

A new agreement to create creative ideas, concepts, and apps was recently signed by Abu Dhabi organisations Technology Innovation Institute (TII), Aspire, and Maqta Gateway, which is a component of AD Ports Group's digital cluster.

Abu Dhabi's Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) has TII as one of its applied research pillars, and it focuses on creating cutting-edge technological skills.
