Auditions for Dubais Battle of the Bands now open; Inviting the citys musicians and aspiring musicians to get up on stage

Battle of the Bands Lock, Stock and Barrel is back. This summer with full on excitement. Battle of the Bands is a stunning yearly event in Dubai that invites artists and aspiring musicians to take the stage. 

The competition seeks local bands that can perform two original songs to compete with Dhs35,000 up for grabs. No solo performers or singers who are retreating are allowed inside. By July 12, the shortlist will be determined, and on July 16 a round of heat stages will formally start the tournament. Every Wednesday at 8 p.m. until the final on August 27, the musicians will compete against one another in head-to-head shows.

On Wednesday, August 2, the first heat will be held in Barsha Heights, followed by Business Bay. The tournament will then rotate between the two locations every Wednesday night before reaching its peak at the OG branch in JBR for the final on Wednesday, August 30, where one band will earn Dhs35,000. Those keen on entering should register on the LSB website and get practicing their two original songs.
