Athens is the latest direct travel destinations for passengers travelling by Sharjah Airport

Athens, the capital of Greece, has now been added to the list of destinations serviced directly by Sharjah Airport, according to a joint announcement from the Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA) and Air Arabia. 

This week saw the introduction of the first of these aviation routes, which connects Athens International Airport with Sharjah.

On Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, there will be four weekly flights on the new route for travellers and tourists, with the possibility of adding more in the future.
