Around 72 percent of road works completed at Margham, Lehbab, Al Lisaili, and Hatta have been completed

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai said on Sunday that around 72% of the construction work on internal roads and streetlights in Margham, Lehbab, Al Lisaili, and Hatta has been finished. The project is 38 km long, 19 km of which is dedicated to road construction and the other 19 km to the installation of lighting poles along already-existing roadways.

The internal roadways project was started, according to Mattar Al Tayer, director-general and chairman of RTA, to meet the demands of the emirate's growing population and expanding urban area while also promoting the welfare of its citizens. Road construction, street lighting, pavement, and rainfall drainage networks are all part of the projects at Margham and Lehbab, which together house about 14,000 people.

Internal road construction in Al Lesaili spans 7 km, while street lighting for the existing roadways in Al Qudra Lakes and Saih Assalam, close to the Last Exit, spans 14 km. There are around 2,900 inhabitants in the vicinity, and the access and departure points will be improved.

The project involves building two km of roads in Hatta, namely at Saa'eer, Al Salami, and Suhaila. Serving around 6,000 households, the infrastructure improvements include street lighting and rainfall drainage. They also enhance entry/exit points and the link between the newly constructed residential complex and the road system.
